into a luxury, electrically powered saloon boat,
allowing you to enjoy a private cruise
through the Amsterdam canals in any weather type.

The Cerberus

The Cerberus has a spacious saloon with comfortable seatings. The side windows can be taken out, so you can enjoy an open boat experience and also be in the shade at the same time. In winter time there is heating on board. You can be with max 10 people on board (for dinner/buffet max 6 people).

Whether you are celebrating a birthday, getting married on board, hosting a corporate drinks reception, or wishing for a romantic dinner for two, your personal preferences are our top priority when cruising with Admiraal Heijn. Amsterdam Light Festival

This year marks the 15th edition of the Amsterdam Light Festival. Once again, the city is being transformed into a stage for light art. Local, national and international artists have been asked what they would like to present to the residents and visitors of Amsterdam. There is no fixed narrative or theme for this edition, the city itself is the stage, and the artists engage in a dialogue with the city through a multitude of perspectives. Let yourself be surprised!

Admire it from a boat

There are countless advantages to viewing the light artworks with a private boat tour: you avoid the queues, enjoy the experience with your own group—whether family, friends, or colleagues—and sit in comfort and warmth. Meanwhile, you can enjoy snacks and drinks, or make it a whole evening out and combine the Amsterdam Light Festival with dinner on board. A great idea for a birthday, family outing, evening with friends, corporate event, end-of-year or New Year’s gathering, or a romantic evening for two.

The festival runs from 26 November 2026 to 17 January 2027.

What we offer

Experience Amsterdam at its finest with a luxury canal cruise, an intimate drinks experience, or an exquisite lunch or dinner on the water.

1 hour: €280
1.5 hours: €380
2 hours: €480
Each additional half-hour €100
*Prices include VAT and call out charges within the city center, but exclude the tourist tax (VMR) of €2.70 per person.

Service on board

From an extensive drinks reception to a luxurious three-course dinner—and from traditional Dutch bitterballen, an oyster platter, or bruschetta to lobster—we can serve it all for you on board. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner on board, or simply have a snack with your drinks.
We offer a variety of beverages on board; please see below for the full menu. We charge a fee for wines and champagne brought on board by guests.

About us

Frans is the quintessential skipper, boat builder, and host; he has been navigating Amsterdam’s canals for over 40 years and played a pioneering role in the development of groundbreaking electric boats. He loves showing guests the city’s most beautiful spots while sharing entertaining stories about his beloved home. Judith draws on her years of experience in the travel and boat tour industries to ensure everything runs smoothly regarding communication, catering, and planning.
